August Extra-curriculars

We enjoyed a lot of fun activities throughout the month of August! Here’s Hallie showing off her swimming skills.

Everyone ditches their jumpers (sweatshirts) as the race begins and a charity group comes along to collect them all-it’s crazy to see just how many are laying around…or up in trees!

We made it and still have smiles on our faces! It was the best run for me to date.  Such beauty running along Sydney’s coastline and great entertainment and running partner.  I could have gone another 14K! What an amazing place to finish!!

                          

While we were running, Kyla was getting ready for her first gymnastics competition with her friend, Bella.

                           

Brian rushed off after the run to catch the train back to watch her.

      

                             

And while Brian was rushing off one direction, I was headed via train and bus to another place in Sydney to meet Alaina for her band festival!

They earned a gold award and played beautifully!

Towards the end of August, we got to enjoy another parent watch week at dance.

August Activities

The biggest boat show in the Southern Hemisphere was in our own backyard, so of course we had to go! This was Brian’s special day out and we had fabulous 80 degree, sunny weather to go with. Not bad for a winter’s day!

                                     

We went on several boats, making sure the kids weren’t touching and laying on everything. We were all picking out our dream boats and enjoying the views of the city.

Hallie is always so worn out after preschool on Friday and usually falls asleep on the short drive to pick up her sisters.  This was the first time she’s ever fallen asleep watching shows after.

Brian’s boss sent flowers to me one afternoon to say thank you for my support of Brian and his role at Stryker.  Nice to be recognized!

Alaina got to go ice skating for the first time at a friend’s birthday party!
