US Visit-Days 6 & 7

We enjoyed celebrating Christmas with my side of the family as well as good food and lots of games!

The next day was New Year’s Eve and we had planned a Euchre tournament. It was also the Cotton Bowl that our team was playing in. Fun night with friends and family!

US Visit-Days 3-5

The next day, Brian’s mom came to Grand Rapids.  We enjoyed Christmas festivities, good fun and family time.

The next morning it was off to Fenton to visiti my family, but first we all had hair appointments!  We got there just as it started to snow!  The girls were SO excited!!

Everyone had left before I was done, so I had my mom’s car to take to their house.  I had to get the scraper out!  I did NOT miss this!  And, my first time driving on the opposite side of the road in 18 months had to be on very icy roads as the snow turned to freezing rain.  It was also my first time driving in winter weather in 3 years!  I was thankful to get back to my parent’s house!

The next morning, we met up for breakfast with friends we had not seen in 2-1/2 years…old college buddies.  It was great catching up and the kids enjoyed running around and playing games.

Later that day we enjoyed more time with family followed by a night out with friends we hadn’t seen in a long time!  It was great to see  2 friends that live out of state that happend to be in MI the same time!
