Pumpkin Carving!

So we debated whether or not we should buy a pumpkin this year as they were SO expensive here!  After awhile, we decided we would buy one so they could still have the joy that comes when pulling out those pumpkin guts and eating the cooked seeds later as well as carving a silly face into the side.  So, we bought this $14 pumpkin from Costco.  Back home, this smallish pumpkin would have cost us around $2.  This was the cheapest one we found here in NSW too.  I saw one not much bigger than this for sale at a fruit/veg market for $30!  We made do with the 1 and the girls had a blast.  $14 well spent!!

Since we just had one pumpkin, Alaina and Kyla each got to carve one side of it!  We made it work and they were quite pleased!
