We started our morning off by going bowling. In theory, it should have been a lot of fun, but there was some major crabiness happening. They all had moments of fun, but not getting to go first and being “hangry” added to the drama. Looking at the pictures, it looks like an amazing time…
Brian’s sister had planned a surprise for Brian’s mom upon our return back to her house…her 3 closest friends (from college & 1 from kindergarten!) arrived for a visit. What Barb didn’t know was that there was more surprises to come later!
Deb, Barb’s cousin was there also visiting and is always amazing with the kids…always brings gifts or crafts!
We had told Barb that we were just going out to dinner as a family, but we had planned a surprise retirement dinner for her to celebrate her 31 years at the US Post Office. She was quite surprised and it was a lovely evening!
Another snow storm was on the way, so we made out way back to my parent’s house that night. The next I enjoyed a lunch date with past preschool friends.
Back at my parent’s house, the girls enjoyed a version of sledding. They had fun!
Perfect ending to our day! Made even more perfect with the snow falling.
Early birthday gift time! It’s like another Christmas!
Taking in all the snowy beauty the next morning!
More shopping with my mom with a lunch break for me with my old neighbors.
Later that night, we made our way to Milan to have one last night with some of our besties-dinner and games!
So happy that you could see so many people on your trip! How fun!
