May Sightseeing

It was so great to have my mom come out in May for a few weeks.  She was a great help around the house, helping with some big sales of our things and organizing, and being there to babysit the girls so Brian and I could take a little trip.

She’s seen a lot of Australia, but we did a few sightseeing trips that were new for her.

Here we are enjoying a walk around Balmoral Beach on our way to brunch.

We came down a different way than we went up.  It was a great staired pathway down to the beach.

My mom got the chance to climb the pylon of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and snapped these beautiful shots.

Brian and I have both gotten to do just what those people are doing-climb the Harbour Bridge-so cool!

Work commenced in 1924 and the half arch from the north shore finally met the half arch from the south shore in 1930. The bridge was officially opened on March 19, 1932
