Going Away Parties

We planned a fun 80’s party with some of our closest friends. We had a great adults only night full of good food, fun games and great friends! It was a blast decorating and thinking up fun activities.  My mom (& Alaina’s powerpoint skills) came up with our 80’s trivia and pictionary/charades games.

The costumes were great and so much fun! And yes, I had roller skates on-couldn’t believe I found this perfect pair at Salvation Army!  I only fell once in the night. Smile

The next day we had a joint family farewell with the Guise family who would be moving back to England around the same time. We weren’t sure what to expect with the weather on an Australian winter’s day at a nearby park, but it was a beautiful day! We had a great turn out and lots of fun!

And the next day, Alaina’s best friend threw her a surprise going away party with her closest friends.

We will miss all of these friends so much and look forward to an Aussie reunion in the future!!
