John & Sarah arrived bright and early on Saturday morning and Brian picked them up from the airport and brought them back to our house. Unfortunately the weather was not in our favor as the rain just kept pouring down. The girls cricket got canceled, so we just hung around, caught up and unpacked a bit. I took them up to the school for the girls’ swim lesson before heading over to the shops to get some snacks and umbrellas!
Kyla was the only one there at first so she had 3 instructors to herself!

The rain wasn’t going to stop us, so we headed into the city as planned. We even got dressed for family/couple photos in hopes of a break in the weather. We went to Darling Harbour and made our first stop Paddy’s Markets. The girls were so cute with the umbrellas.
We then headed to Hyde Park to try for photos.
The rain let up a bit and we parked ourselves under the park’s trees. I’ll add some of the my favorite photos of the Scaddings in August, when they share them for their 10 year anniversary, but we got some great family photos while we were out too.
We walked over to the fountain and St. James Church for some more family shots and some other fun photos.
We’re a little goofy!
We then walked to the Queen Victoria Building. I love this selfie John took, and have to laugh that my bootie made the shot
Kisses from my baby
Then back to Darling Harbour for dinner and fireworks
