Our Christmas was a bit different this year as we were leaving for the States early on Christmas morning. We had to be out of our house by 8:00am! So we celebrated our family Christmas on Christmas Eve and just Santa brought gifts (thankfully always 1 unwrapped per child) and stocking stuffers for the girls to open on Christmas morning. It worked quite well!
I had to get the traditional Christmas photos though with all the gifts under the tree, so we staged that for photos before Santa’s gifts went back into hiding.
Christmas Eve morning
The kids received lots of wonderful presents! They were especially excited for the gifts from each other…desk organizer, earring holders, photo wallet, calculator and lip gloss!
Highlights included jewelry, books, dress up, perfume, and a photo book with all of Kyla’s books shes’s created throughout the year. Brian’s and my highlights were MSU basketball tickets, voucher to go canyoning in the Blue Mountains, and outdoor cinema tickets in Sydney.
Special Christmas letters and pictures from Alaina
Gotta love Kyla’s new wig!
