USA Visit-Day 8

In the morning, Brian headed back into work while the girls and I met with Carrie over at Amanda’s house where we were served a very good breakfast!  After saying goodbye to Carrie, I snuck away with just Hallie to meet my friend, Sherrie for lunch…kicking myself as I forgot to get a picture of us.  Sherrie and I went to kindergarten together and also lived together for a bit during college.  We had a nice lunch and then went back to the Worrall’s house for some more boating fun!  Amanda and I even made it into the tube for a bit.

                                     

We said our goodbyes and made our way back to Fenton to meet up with high school friends for dinner at The Fenton Fire Hall. Good food and great friends!!

After another great day, we headed back to my parents house. 

USA Visit-Day 7 (Part Two)

For dinner, we all headed over to our friends, Jon & Maren Rock’s house.  We ordered pizza and had a great time catching up with some west side friends!

Emerson had us cracking up…between her super water-logged diaper, her hair pulled back and her stance, she looked like a little suma wrestler.  The floaty ring was just decoration.  What a cutie!!

After settling Brian and the girls into the hotel, Carrie and I hit the town!  It was so great to go out with my girl (and enjoy $4 margaritas!) and catch up!  Fun day!
