Back at my parent’s house for our last full day in the States, we decided to hit the pool one more time since the weather was perfect! Brian’s mom came to hang out for the day as well. We had a blast playing in the pool and enjoyed a yummy lunch.
Then it was off to Brighton to spend one last evening with the Mainka family. The kids had fun playing outside and we enjoyed catching up.
Abigail created some fun dances for Alaina & Ariana to perform, Alyssa showed off her baby toads, and Hallie & Alex lounged around.
Sidewalk chalk and coloring again
They kept parading around seeing preschool songs-silly girls!
Alaina figured out the pogo stick and Brian paused for a photo. He & Ben worked on dinner prep while Jen & I minded the kiddos.
Games and dessert before saying farewell
Brian took the girls home for bed and I headed back to our old neighborhood to catch up with neighbor friends. Thanks for hosting, Cheri!
The next day was full of finalizing our shopping lists and packing up our 11, yes 11 large suitcases. The girls finished up a few projects Nana had left for them (journals, fairy garden, painting stones, etc.).
My parents drove us to the airport and we had a tearful goodbye. We had such an AMAZING and BLESSED time in the States! The girls were great traveling home, despite a few flight delays.
Flying high!
The sun started to rise as we neared Australia. Thank you US family and friends for a great trip “home!”
