After coming home late from Canberra, we relaxed a bit in the morning. We snapped a picture of Dad hanging up his washings, a super-sized grasshopper (??), and a shot of our drop off post.
Then it was off to Wahroonga train station to head into Sydney for the day. Wahroonga Railway Station opened back in 1890!
Here’s Dad getting to do what he wanted to do most on this trip, talk to the locals!
We stopped at Milsons Point so that we could do the Harbour Bridge walk.
Looking down at the unbelievable houses!
Alaina is such a book worm…reading as she walks across the bridge!
The Government House within the Royal Botanic Gardens
Looking down at someone’s holiday decorations!
Love seeing all the different boats in Sydney Harbour
One of the ferry boats
There is always a cruise ship in the Harbour and today there were 2!
Looking down at The Rocks, the historic area of Sydney.
Off the bridge and heading down to the Markets
Grabbing lunch after doing a little shopping in the Markets
Gotta love the didgeridoo players!
We hopped on the ferry to head to Manly Beach
Marvelling at the large yacht in the harbour.

Arriving at Manly and Kim finding herself a surfing Santa
Getting herded back on the the ferry
The Prime Minister’s house on the right and the Governor General’s house straight ahead
We grabbed some ice cream at my favorite place (Copenhagens) and walked around the Customs House before going to check out the Opera House and Royal Botanic Gardens.
I love that some buses put up Christmas decorations! Checking out the Bridge climbers.
Crazy to see the size of the cruise ship in comparison the the Harbour Bridge.
It was also neat to watch it turn around to head out of the harbour.
