We woke up refreshed and ready to take on the day! An early morning run to explore more of the island, followed by breakfast and watching some Fijians get coconuts down off the trees. They were nice enough to share with us!
Back to our rooms for sunblock before taking the kids to their first kids club session!
Getting a quick tutorial on how to use my new Go Pro!
Heading to the beach….adults only!
We saw the kids from kids club out on the dock feeding the fish.
We hired some kayaks for an hour and we were off! It was so beautiful and peaceful!!
We parked over by the neighboring resort and walked around the marina before heading back.
We found the Perrys snorkeling on our way back and decided to join them!
Kyle was great at finding all sorts of cool sea life for us!
Most of these underwater photos are Kyle’s, including this friend of his who he may or may not have grabbed by the tail and then lost him after the water stirred up…no thank you!
After snorkeling, we grabbed the kids from kids club and enjoyed lunch by the water.
Then it was beach time (& nap time for Hallie) for the kids. They enjoyed snorkeling, swimming, splashing, running on the beach and checking out Kyle’s sea creatures.
I took each of the kids out for a little kayak ride.
Hallie woke up and joined us on the beach.
Kyla had been desperate to try snorkeling and she finally got the opportunity with daddy and absolutely loved it!
Hallie really wanted to go to the pool and since she didn’t get much play time due to her nap, we stopped over for for a little swim before heading back to get cleaned up for dinner.
We fed the kids takeaway and took them to the evening kids club session so we could enjoy an adult only dinner out. On our walk to dinner, we checked out the activity board to find out the next day’s happenings.
Cheers to great friendships and kid-free dinners!
We had to grab the kids before our dinner was over as kids club was ending, so they came back while we finished up. We wanted to get a group picture of our dinner party, but the kids were being a bit crazy, so the bar tender invited them all back behind the bar while we were having Alaina take our photo. After the successful pictures, we turned around to find this! I can’t believe he had these kids holding these expensive bottles! I was so nervous until he got Hallie’s bottle put back!
Great night with great friends!
