Day 5 was a pool, play cards, and relax kind of day, therefore I don’t have many pictures to show from it. However I do have one picture that I took first thing in the morning that kind of shows why we needed a rest day Good thing Kyla’s blanket has holes!
And it was also a good day for some craft and sewing projects…my mom brought this material from home to recover our new to us barstools. What a difference it makes!!
Brian got back from Singapore on Saturday morning, Day 6. After the girls finished up their swim lessons this morning, we ate a quick lunch, then made our way to Darling Harbour for the rest of the day.
The girls at swim lessons-improving so much…check out Alaina’s stroke!
Piling out of our clown car…We managed to get all 9 of us in our vehicle…our Odyssey was not happy with us!
Showing them the plan for the day…note: if you’re coming to visit us, pack your walkin’ shoes!
On our way to Paddy’s Markets to buy some souvenirs
This kid has such an obsession with her nose, I’m actually happy when it’s just her finger going up there!
Walking in Hyde Park and the girls got to play with some bubbles…everyone was happy.
Group shot at Hyde Park
Sydney Festival was going on in Sydney, so they had some really cool things set up throughout the city, including some fun, FREE, family activities. Here the girls are waiting in line to bounce through “Stonehenge”
Stonehenge Bounce…super fun!
Queen Victoria Building
Back to Darling Harbour for dinner and some fun!
Another cool thing they had set up for Sydney Festival…just hanging around! We had so much fun with this. I love how in the 3rd one, Kyla is just casually laying in the middle of the building.
We stayed for the fireworks display and it was great! Unfortunately our ice cream didn’t fair so well in the heat so we had to focus on eating those as quickly as possible!
