Visit with the Williams’ & Kunnens-Day 1

We were all so excited to have my mom and dad here for a visit and we always have a great time with the Kunnens so we couldn’t wait for them to get here!  They came in bright and early to the Sydney airport and our whole family went with 2 vehicles to pick them and all of their luggage (most of which was things for our family-gifts, food, etc.) up.  We knew we needed to keep them moving or they would crash, so we headed to Bronte Beach to do the nice coastal walk to Bondi Beach.

After we drove them by some tourist spots to tease them a little, we made it back to our house to unpack and unwind.  The girls quickly got acclimated to playing on Papa’s IPAD.

Everyone wanted to go swimming and since the air was a little chilly in the evening, our neighbors had offered up their pool for us to use (which is heated), so we took a dip!

Since Brian was heading out the next morning for a business trip to Singapore, we did our Christmas celebration that first night.  Here’s Hallie opening her suitcase full of gifts-a little different way to do Christmas, but it worked!  Every time Hallie pulled out a new gift, she would run over to Nana & Papa and say, “open it?”

After gifts, we played a couple quick games before calling it a night.
