We started our morning out with a yummy breakfast at the hotel, then headed into town. Once we parked the car, we found this pretty church (St. Agnes Catholic Church) that made for a nice photo op.
I’ll catch you Daddy!
Our attempt at a picture of all the kids…Hallie was scared to be on the ledge.
We continued on our way to Town Beach
There was a fun breakwall the we walked along, admiring all the amazing painted rocks. (It has now become a tradition for locals and visitors to seek out the "rock" which becomes their personal canvas of memories of past holidays or a tribute to a loved one)
It was a lot of fun checking out the different art among the rocks…some of them went all out! Here’s one where they even added grass to its top!
Jon’s Ariel pose
These trees were crazy!
The kids had fun using the trees’ shedding as their cat tails and then continued to all crawl around meowing.
The kids enjoyed taking a break from walking to watch the skateboarders
A couple dolphins graced our presence along our walk back.
After our walk, it was time for a treat!
After enjoying some food and sunshine, we headed to the Koala Hospital.
Can you spot all 3 joeys?
The kids were much more interested in collecting sticks!
Someone was a bit worn out. Poor thing, we never planned around naptime so she just had to get sleep wherever, whenever.
From here, we made our 4+ hour trip back home! And a quick note to add that the kids were all AMAZING travelers! We were blown away by how little we had to stop and what great adult conversations we were able to have along the way. Win!
