We had a beautiful, sunny day to head into the city for the day. Our first stop was Paddy’s Market for some souvenirs, followed by a walk to Hyde Park. We checked out the Anzac War Memorial (Australian and New Zealand Army Corp-built as a memorial to the Australian Imperial Force of World War I) which was very interesting and I’d love to make it there another time (without children) to learn more.

From Hyde Park, we made our way back over to Darling Harbour and enjoyed some great street entertainment on our way to lunch.
After lunch, we went to the Powerhouse Museum and although I grabbed this shot of the fashion area, we spent the rest of our time at The Wiggles Exhibition.

Wake up, Jeff! They were SCREAMING this to wake him up!
We had a great time in the city and then went back home for a birthday celebration for the kiddos!
