We did a lot of things in December that don’t take up an entire blog post but are worthy of documenting. Here they are!
Brian and I got to go on a date night and had so much fun! We went out to dinner, saw a Gold Class movie and had fun playing in the mall.
The girls’ friend, Evie got to come over to play while her parents worked on moving into their new house.
Alaina, Kyla and I spent an afternoon at a friend’s surprise baby shower. It was such a fun and creative party!
Kyla & Hallie got invited to their friend Quinelle’s birthday party at the park and had so much fun! We know Quinelle and her family from church and are in the same connect group.
Just some cute pictures of Hallie waking up from nap…she’s too cute!
Kyla, Hallie & I got to go to a Wiggles concert at our local shopping mall. Cool!
Alaina got invited to her friend, Abbie’s birthday party. Abbie is in Alaina’s class and actually lives right across the street from us! Her mum invited the rest of girls over to play too!
We just got a zoo membership for Christmas, so we decided to check it out on a Saturday morning and ended up seeing 2 different family friends! The girls were excited to walk around the zoo with their friend, Evie.
The giraffes have a great view of the city!
The girls are loving their new cameras from Christmas!
Enjoying the seal show
They spent the majority of their time playing in the water area…and got completely soaked! We had packed their suits but didn’t think they’d get that wet! They ended up wearing their suits after for the remainder of our zoo day!
The elephant was super playful!
The zoo is an amazing vantage point of Sydney’s CBD!
Taking the cable car back to the entrance! Brian, Hallie & I were in the car in front of them.
Just a photo op at the mall
Our family’s first cricket match. We had a great time! It was like being at a baseball game even though the sport is quite different. We learned a lot about cricket and the girls had fun even though it lasted until around 11pm!
Rainbow lorikeets are just so pretty, so I was happy to have a couple visiting me while I was hanging the laundry out to dry.
