I woke up very early to see the sunrise, but unfortunately it was very foggy and overcast. The mood is still there, just no sun rays.
Then it was time for some Tai Chi.
Then we took a boat over to a very small floating village and took some kayaks out for a bit.
Then it was back to the boat to get ready and pack up.
The fog was starting to lift as we enjoyed a cooking lesson. We got to learn how to make decorative flowers out of tomatoes and radishes and then made fresh spring rolls.
Then we enjoyed the scenery as we cruised back to port.
We cruised by a fishing village attached to one of the islands.
Once we docked, we got back on our bus to head to Hanoi with another stop on the way at the same tourist trap. We watched them carving the marble for a bit and were goofing around. Hallie however sat down on one that had a big screw or something on it and ripped her new jumpsuit. At least we were in the right place for that to happen! There were heaps of seamstresses there, so they gave her something else to wear while they stitched it up for a couple bucks!
Fun on the way back to Hanoi playing a game from our childhood-MASH…determining all of our futures!
Once back in Hanoi, we enjoyed dinner, ice cream and a walk around the lake. The girls were very popular!!
