Getting ready to head into the center of the city to Bayon Temple-a Buddhist temple that retains elements of Hindu cosmology and imagery. It represents the intersection of heaven and earth and is known for its enigmatic smiling faces of Avalokiteshvara (the lord who looks upon the world with compassion) and its extraordinary bas-reliefs.
Saying goodbye to Angkor Thom, we dropped Brian and Beth back off at Angkor Wat so they see a little more of it then back to the hotel for a rest.
On our way back, we saw these live little piggies on their way to the market.
We then headed out for lunch, said goodbye to our driver and of course got some ice cream.
Tuk tuk back to the hotel for a quick swim and to get ready for dinner.
Our family went to a traditional Khmer dance & dinner-something different and fun.
Quick stop at the night markets via tuk tuk and back to our hotel, completely exhausted from a full on day!
