We got to enjoy a lovely morning at the beach in DaNang to start off our day.
More Vietnamese Paparazi
Some men were working on pulling in a line of some sort while we were swimming and so many people, including us joined in, not fully aware of what we were actually pulling in until we saw the net. At first we didn’t think there was anything in it, but as soon as it got closer, some men jumped in to start pulling the fish out and throwing back the jelly fish.
There was a few fish trapped in the other bits of the nets so the kids enjoyed “rescuing” them.
They were very quick to get them on plates, separate them, weigh them and sell them super fresh.
Then it was time to clean and pack up to head to the airport. Unfortunately our flight was delayed, but we made the most of it by heading back out for some Veitnamese massages. It was quite the experience to say the least! Here’s Kyla after her massage.
Crazy Kyla
Worn out Hallie
Due to the delay, we arrived in HaNoi quite late. We checked into our hotel, sorted out some laundry as our family was OUT of clean clothes, then went for a walk around the Night Market. Our hotel was right next to this church that had lovely bells ringing on the hour and extra long ringing around 5am. Thank goodness for white noise apps!
We ended our night like we would end several more nights after, with some yummy ice cream cones. So good and so cheap at about 30¢ a pop! It was a very popular ice cream stand that was alaways hoppin’!
