Or fair as we would call it in the States…this was a big production put on by Alaina’s school. It was a great day full of fun rides, friends, cake stall, special treats, tombola (a raffle for prizes), music & dance performances, yummy food, showbags, shops, animals, and much more!
Unfortunately the fair was on the same day as a big election here (was not planned that way), which made for a lot more people, but that may have also helped the school in the fundraising department.
Kindifarm was there with a little petting farm set up for the kids
The fire brigade also showed up with a truck for the kids to check out
Love hearing bagpipes…have actually them a few times since living here….this was a band from a private boys school in Wahroonga
I secretly love when my girls are both feeling a little timid and cling to each other for comfort!
Poor Hallie didn’t get to ride any rides, so she settled for watching
1st ride…and it was with their friends, Sophia and Gemma…they LOVED this ride!
Looking a little queasy on this ride!
I couldn’t believe how fast this ride spun the kids around…made me sick to watch, but they loved it…guess that my sign that I’m getting old!
So excited for fairy floss! (love learning all these new words and phrases!)
After the girls went home, I had to come back to work in one of the stalls…I was happy though to find a wine tasting tent to enjoy before my scheduled shift!
