Our next day, we decided to all take the boat out to the Low Isles so the kids could enjoy some fun on an island and see some of the Great Barrier Reef and marine life. We had a great time and saw some really cool things!
Hallie sporting a barf bag as a hat!
Heading out to the Reef
Our island for the afternoon
Taking a small boat to the island
Hallie may have been extremely tired as well as having gotten sunblock in her eyes at this point….poor baby!
Our hut for the afternoon
We were met by a large school of fish!
As well as a reef shark!
Nobody seemed too concerned with the fact that there was a shark swimming around
I’m not sure if this photographer thought I was out here by myself with 4 kids or what? Kyla snapped this shot (along with a few others in this group)
Back on the boat for a seafood buffet lunch
The girls were great in trying new seafood, more so than their mom!
Seeing more sharks from the boat
Back on the beach…Hallie looks like she’s saying a little prayer….maybe because we left her with the Perrys to snorkeling!
Alaina attempted snorkeling…still a little scary for her though.
Off we go!
And, Brian found Nemo!
Back on the boat to head back to Port and enjoying the fresh fruit! Goodbye Low Isles!
Guess I missed the window to get a nice family picture…did I mention that Hallie got 3 new molars on this trip??
