We couldn’t wait for this day to come! We have never been so happy to see our things! Merry Christmas to us…and just in the nick of time! Our sea shipment was delivered to us on Thursday, September 5th. As you’ll see in future posts, we had our first visitor that Saturday (a surprise guest-yes, an old co-worker of Brian’s that we hadn’t seen in about 6 years, showed up on our doorstep-surprise! He was here for work and thought it would be wild and hilarious to just show up-it was great to see him!) which was also the day of Alaina’s school fair. The following Wednesday, we welcomed our 2nd set of visitors (friends visiting from Hawaii that would stay at our house for a week) and then our 3rd set of visitors (Brian’s aunt & uncle whom actually live in South Australia, but were finishing up their travels from the States, Europe, etc.) the following Monday. So, we had a LOT of work to do to get our house ready after having all of our belonging delivered. I worked like a maniac unpacking boxes and setting up as much as possible to prepare for 3 sets of visitors within 10 days. Luckily, I like to work under pressure! Here are just a few pictures of our happy delivery day!
Oh happy day!!
